The announcement in the budget that Chemotherapy will be administered to patients in Gozo,was very well received by Europa Donna Malta and all the members, especially the group’s Gozo section.

President Gertrude Abela said ‘’Europa Donna Malta the Breast Care Support Group has been lobbying for this service for Gozitan patients for quite a long time and was one of the principle subjects discussed with  the Minister of Health Dr. Godfrey Farrugia during a meeting  held earlier this year.

 On behalf of our group, members and all patients I would like to thank the Government and the Minsiter of Health for the planned introduction of this service which will be of a great benefit for patients in Gozo.’’
